Dues Structure, Refunds & Cancellation Guidelines

1. PLAYER DUES REFUND POLICY

Effective 09/01/2025, in order to plan our program efficiently, without overbooking and to cover operating expenses (salaries, water, equipment, etc.) no refunds will be processed. The Whittier Water Polo Club Board may choose to review individual situations at their discretion.

2. 14U + UP COMPETITIVE TEAM FEES

Effective 09/01/2025, in order to plan our Competitive Program effectively, our competitive teams require full commitment from sign-up to end of JO's. No refunds will be processed. The Whittier Water Polo Club Board may choose to review individual situations at their discretion.

3. PLAYER DUES CREDIT POLICY (ENROLLED WITH FULL UP FRONT PAYMENT - DEVELOPMENT TEAM ONLY)

If requested one-month (30 days) in advance of the first day of the month after having paid for the season in full, the remaining balance can be applied to future sessions within a six month time frame. After six (6) months, if the payment credits have not been applied, they will be forfeited. No credits will be granted if requested after the start of the month.

4. DONATION RECEIPT

A player can choose to donate the remainder of their balance upon early withdrawal from the season, in which case the family can request a donation letter for the IRS. Whittier Water Polo Club will write a letter for your tax preparer sharing that you are donating X dollars to have their credit balance.

5. VACATIONS

We understand that family time is valuable. Over the Summer months, families often take long vacations. Payment credits will not be granted for not attending scheduled practices, going on vacation, etc.
